I love cheese. I`m going to name my child Colby Jack. Time Marches on (see September 2, 2017). I`m backing up photos on gold DVDs to last 100 years. The three books I didn`t need (see February 26, 2018). Rainy day pictures.

March 2, 2018
I decided not to take a swim in the river today. I`m glad I get to work indoors. The entire street is a litter box for neighborhood cats. Every stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band. PAUL SIMON Spring isn`t waiting for spring this year.

March 3, 2018
I went across this new bridge for the first time today. Foul fowl. Look up: spring is in the air. I`ll be sneezing soon. They`re constantly hunting for food. But they can FLY! I noticed afterward that there`s a bug snuggled in there.

March 4, 2018
It`s easier to take something apart than put it together. A sunny day in the Oregon Historic District. He walked down the middle of the street shouting, `The wrath of God has come!` Nothing can stop spring. It has gotten difficult to crouch down to take pictures.

March 5, 2018
And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. GENESIS 8:3 Clearly someone had a defective childhood. Spring cleaning. Thirsty? The news can be so confusing.

March 6, 2018
Some days I wonder where I should go to take photos, but not today. How to get killed in downtown Dayton. Colors, lines and curves. The relentless hunger for `development` consumes one of downtown Dayton`s last remaining green spaces. Hat rack for the Nazgul.

March 7, 2018
We need more missiles to protect us from their missiles. Beethoven`s Fifth. I think I`ve finally found my identity. Red lights and crosswalks mean nothing at this intersection, which makes it so dangerous to cross. My camera bag is perfect for carrying leftover Thai food.

March 8, 2018
Facets of downtown. Engine 4, where are you? Slowly stepping toward spring. International Women`s Day. Construction workers usually don`t wave at me.

March 9, 2018
The First English Lutheran Church was organized in 1839 and met in a store. This church was built in 1906. The colorful stone at the church entrance. This part of downtown hasn`t changed in a century. I thought this would make an apeeling photo. Getting there is half the fun -- unless it`s cold.

March 10, 2018
As I pointed my massive camera and took a picture of these flowers, some lady asked `What are you doing?` This shot is a bit better than my last photo of a beaver (see March 11, 2008). If it was always the weekend, my pictures would be so much better. I`m grateful for all the birds that constantly eat bugs, otherwise the world would be an unpleasant place. I was happy about the beaver photo, then I got this.

March 11, 2018
These flowers bloomed in front of my house last week. Since then, they`ve endured snow and freezing weather. It takes a long time to repair streets in my neighborhood. Lunch bunch. `No more birds,` I said. At this point in my daily photo adventure, someone walked up, hugged me, and said `I love your camera!`

March 12, 2018
One lump or two? (see May 2, 2016) Pride in a job well done. Grass-fed goose. It`s all birds from here on in today. Gull with snowflakes.

March 13, 2018
I always seem to be the first one to arrive. It was worth the wait. If the sun is out when it snows, will there be a rainbow? It`s not that I like to eat cookies. I just want to assist the next generation of female entrepreneurs. Soon to be available at Goodwill.

March 14, 2018
You want to donate $240 and get one of these, right? It`s not that I like to eat cookies. I just want to help my coworkers celebrate their birthdays. Cardinals are singing their spring song now. Tremendous progress has been made on the street. Refections on the Oregon District.

March 15, 2018
Dandelions are a sign of spring, just like flowers. Sunny but cold. It`s great`n Dayton. Cold but sunny. `Who was that gander I saw you with last night?`

March 16, 2018
Getting ready for another public radio pledge drive. Willy wants you to donate to Discover Classical! Tune in for the next episode of `Hoarders.` Celebrations today occur in the shadow of violence. These trucks are blocking the road to prevent an attack. I don`t wear Nikes.

March 17, 2018
She was handing out free leprechen poop to everyone. `Are you gonna makes us, like, into famous models?` Like, no. It must be St. Patrick`s Day in the Oregon District. These people will probably be back on Cinco de Mayo. Big Brother is watching you.

March 18, 2018
Lean on me when you`re not strong. It looks like I missed the prairie burn this year. The sole survivor. I was still moving, so it left me alone. I talked to Brother John Lemker today, and then went outside and shamelessly copied one of his photographs (see May 6, 2007).

March 19, 2018
GLASS: Handle with care. Tomorrow is the first day of spring -- and it will snow. I could tell that these daffodils had been frozen at night. Contemplating the swirling sea. Posing for photos instead of working.

March 20, 2018
What are you looking at? Big man about town. Big bird about town. Hanging around downtown. And then this suddenly appeared on my desk. Thank you, Mudlick Taphouse!

March 21, 2018
Springtime in Ohio. Support public radio and call (937) 222-WDPR. No work gone done today on the street repair project (see March 14 above). The current status of the little purple flowers in front of my house (see March 11 above). Despite the snow, it was a pretty morning.

March 22, 2018
I was wondering what to shoot today. Problem solved. This is not a drill! The streets were blocked off to keep traffic away, but I was free to roam around the sidewalk with my camera. Every piece of fire apparatus in the city was here. This is how real photographers take pictures nowadays.

March 23, 2018
Just what I needed for the final day of the pledge drive. I`ve yet to see a heron catch a fish. Canada geese can live for more than 20 years. Oh dear. Other people`s rituals. Mud, mud, glorious mud! There`s nothing quite like it for soothing the blood. MICHAEL FLANDERS AND DONALD SWANN

March 24, 2018
I took a long drive through the snow this morning, and then I sat in one spot and took pictures for eight hours. It`s important for a photographer to have the instinct to take pictures of things that haven`t happened yet. As usual, there were shows with freaky masks. Percussion is its own form of music making. I don`t mind shows with freaky masks, vampires or witches, but giant spiders is going too far.

March 25, 2018
Taken from the parking lot as soon as I arrived. With five males and one female, she was popular. I hope these flowers can avoid being snowed on. Well shone, Moon! WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE Soon --- very soon.

March 26, 2018
Spear fishing is a lost art. They must`ve patched things up (see March 15 above). Construction workers usually don`t wave at me. Springtime in Ohio. The second best public radio program in this region.

March 27, 2018
Rainy day picture 1. Rainy day picture 2. Rainy day picture 3. Rainy day picture 4. Rainy day picture 5.

March 28, 2018
Art. Not art. Exploring new territory today, I found an urban waterfall. Is this art? It`s as close as it gets for me. It rains every day. It must be spring.

March 29, 2018
CWW. What? Where? How big? Good luck figuring that out (see February 27, 2018). It`s National Piano Day, whatever that means. At least I don`t have to work outside in the rain. This is the second keyboard I`ve photographed today.

March 30, 2018
The water is high, I cannot cross o`er. The world would be a much better place without people. I didn`t win the award. I just took the picture. The Friday night coffee shop concert isn`t my scene, though tonight I made an exception. The Lovers.

March 31, 2018
Today`s rainy day photos are better than on March 27. A spectator behind me said, `I`d rather watch paint dry.` This too is a form of artistic expression. Teamwork. HEY!
