North Allegheny High School. Centerville High School. INOV8. Milford High School. Milford High School.

A dangerous intersection has become more complicated since a sandwich shop has begun bicycle deliveries. It`s not ice, and for that I am truly grateful. You`ll never see the rainbow without a little rain. Lunchtime. La Mer by Claude Debussy.

March 3, 2020
Nah, I`m not that hungry. Spring began today. Everyone knows it`s windy. A difficult shot on a windy day. Let me point out that this is not a winter photo. It`s a summer photo, and that makes me happy.

March 4, 2020
I knocked off five minutes early and the world didn`t end. Do you think my ears stick out? I hid your birthday present someplace you wouldn`t look. Fly me to the moon. I don`t think I could ever go vegan.

March 5, 2020
The pen I walked in with and the one they gave me. Ballet dancers on a smoke break (see July 17, 2019). Spring flowers wilt so quickly. When presidents stood tall. Chicago in Dayton.

March 6, 2020
Kitty blue. PLD haunts my entire life. Everywhere I go, there he is. Beautiful, but not very talkative. Everywhere I go, there he is. Friday night fish fry.

March 7, 2020
Kitty brown. I approve of witty vandalism (see July 17, 2019). I kinda had to stand in traffic to shoot this photo. This picture was much safer to take. Counting down the days until spring!

March 8, 2020
Today was all about people who play guitar. Jim McCutcheon, host of The Intimate Guitar on Discover Classical. Holly & Emily are outstanding in their field. Holly of Holly & Emily. Emily of Holly & Emily.

Become friends with someone who can make a great cheesecake. Reports about the early arrival of spring were greatly exaggerated. Good advice from Letters by Adrienne. Don`t overload your cart. Breaking up is hard to do.

March 10, 2020
Neal Gittleman plays John Philip Sousa on the recorder to raise money for Discover Classical. If only we could see inside each other`s hearts. Everyone knows it`s windy. This country doesn`t know what direction it`s going. Looking for an escape?

March 11, 2020
We sanitize the wipes and wipe the sanitizer. Confusing messages. I knocked off two hours late because the world is ending (see March 4 above). Good Friday hasn`t been canceled . . . yet. Ready for a long-term quarantine.

March 12, 2020
Charles Berry on the microphone to raise money for Discover Classical. The fundraising campaign ended a day early. Beautiful disaster. From now on, we`ll say, `Remember that one year when the world changed and we had to end the pledge drive?` It wasn`t pretty, but it`s over now.

March 13, 2020
You`d have to be a pretty dumb fish to bite down on that. That`s one muddy step for mankind. `I didn`t plan to come here,` she told me, `but this is my happy place.` I was freezing cold, and I was standing on dry land. I tend to see things from an unusual perspective.

March 14, 2020
It was a day that never happened. I`m not an invalid. Obviously, much of the day was spent at the window. Encouraging words from a cough drop. NOT THAT I HAVE A COUGH! Winter made a comeback today.

March 15, 2020
Other people`s photo shoots. Looking for a good spot to build a nest. I will soon start sneezing, but I`m still glad to see spring. Edward Hopper`s car. Spring made a comeback today.

March 16, 2020
Sure, just work from home, everything will be fine. I`ve been feeling a lot of uncertainty lately. A lone cardinal sings its spring song, oblivious to my uncertainty. Christmas is over already? I`ve always been a little above average.

March 17, 2020
The wearin` o` the green. Walking down the sidewalk, I was struck by a blast of heat . . . . . . that came from the sun, via this person`s window. The Oregon District -- usually busy on St. Patrick`s Day -- was a ghost town today. She literally turned the other direction when she saw me coming. Oh well, I don`t blame her.

March 18, 2020
My workspace at home is even less cluttered than my office. No birds today, although I have seen a hawk in the neighborhood lately. Another day spent at the window. Did I mention I`ve seen a hawk in the neighborhood? It`s not snow, and for that I am grateful.

March 19, 2020
Some people are taking this self-isolation thing too far. The Oregon District at lunchtime. The Oregon District at lunchtime. There was hardly anyone at the zoo today. I saw the decade in when it seemed the world could change in the blink of an eye. JESUS JONES

March 20, 2020
The Great Flood of 2020. I was a lot more excited about spring last week than I am now. Is it a coincidence that squirrels are tree-colored? Between a rock and a hard place. After a brief walk, I felt better about spring.

March 21, 2020
I spent the day archiving old photos, and going down memory lanes that I should probably avoid. I got my money back from one thing that was canceled (see March 11 above), but probably won`t for everything. What? You mean I could just walk down these steps and OUTSIDE? Yes, but I can only go so far. The tulips are getting mixed messages from nature and are uncertain how to proceed.

March 22, 2020
Awww, thank you! Blue is my favorite color. We have some hot new surveillance technology at work. Want a brochure about events that have been canceled? I miss the library (though green is not my favorite color). I had no trouble find a parking space for the opera.

March 23, 2020
Social distancing in the parking garage. Oh, chute! I`ve got a letter authorizing me to go to work even during a statewide lockdown. Lucky me! A cold glass of apple-cherry juice solves everything. I`m thinking back to a more pleasant day (July 7, 2019).

March 24, 2020
`Wait -- do I see crackers?` Yes -- crackers! The governor told people to stay home -- and they did. Cute little guy. His parents call him Spalding. A sign of the times.

March 25, 2020
More spring days like today, please. Hurrying to find the next Mrs. Mallard. Thinking about worms. I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep. ROBERT FROST We all need structure in our lives.

March 26, 2020
`Why dontcha listen to me?` The greatest gifts of springtime are blossoming trees. At this time of year, cardinals sing with relentless joy. I found this tree appealing. Good clean fun.

March 27, 2020
The best dressed horse in the neighborhood. Another broken robot (see June 23, 2013). Lunchtime in the Oregon District. Reflections on springtime. Fighting or playing?

March 28, 2020
Unlikely friends. CELEBRATE! Lunchtime in the Oregon District. The finest in non-human portraiture. These days, I`m about as productive as a cat.

March 29, 2020
Bent, but not broken. When the wind blew, it rained magnolia blossoms. I was outside before the sun rose, to get shots like this. The pond was noisy with the sound of frogs in love. Straight into the trash. Just send me my $1200 check.

March 30, 2020
The colors of springtime: red. Hmmm, looks like nobody`s working at this radio station. The colors of springtime: white. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. SONG OF SOLOMON 2:12 The colors of springtime: pink.

March 31, 2020
I started photographing the WGI World Championships in 2006, but not this year. Some people are nice. I was feeling cooped up in the house, so I got outside to enjoy nature. Zero percent chance of rain, the forecast said. What time I`m getting up in the morning, because people still work at some radio stations (see March 30 above).
