Solar convergence, and it`s not even June 21. Would you be surprised to learn that I always enjoyed the book `Horton Hears a Who`? Scrawled on the bottom of a set of risers -- for a choir. When they split like that, they hold the gravy better. Old-fashioned bleeding heart, or dicentra spectabilis.  Spectabilis is right.

`Front seat!  I called it first!` What was going on on August 1 won`t be going on any more. Suburban legislation. You see a lot of pictures like this, but the amazing thing is that they`re all different. On the sunny side of the seat.

It`s never a good thing when my first picture of the day isn`t taken until sunset. My upstairs neighbor (and I live on the top floor). I come here whenever I want to wash my coins. What`s the scoop? I managed to hold perfectly still for two seconds to take this shot.  I really need to get a tripod.

Iris takes a bath. See you round. The Landscape of My Leg;  or, Nice Pants. Great for dips and salsa. I`m sure if you look closely enough, you`ll see that some of these leaves have little water droplets on them.

A paradux. Three coins in the fountain;  or, I was questioned by a suspicious government employee while taking this picture. Why do some people prefer seasons other than spring? My eye is on that sparrow. He should be able to know when someone is about to park in his space.

Since the weather`s gotten warmer, I`ve had the chance to do a little yardwork. Shrubbeast. I`ve been thinking about purchasing this real estate, but wanted to run it bayou first. She walks in beauty. Yes, but where are the restrooms?

Growing alone among the weeds, next to the trash cans. BEWARE OF BIRD. A 20-year-old tree, about a foot tall. If I could paint a scene like this, I`d earn lots of Monet. The little critter moves pretty fast.

I`m not entirely certain, but I think this twisted red metal sculpture is an homage to beef jerky. And this twisted red metal sculpture is -- well, I don`t think I can write anything more laughable than the object itself. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away . . . The building seems to want to say `Oink!` I can think of no more fitting scene to celebrate the anniversary of this daily photo Web site.

Get your motor runnin`, Head out on the highway. A single reed instrument invented in the 1840s by Adolph Sax. It was so sunny I couldn`t even see, but the picture turned out okay. Buzzy as a bee. One is the loneliest number.

It`s only one cubicle per floor in this office building. If only every woman gave signs that were this clear.  My relationships would be much simpler. As for man, his days are like grass.  PSALM 103 Whispering petitions. This dark bird had a wide white band on each wing.  The robins seemed upset it was in the neighborhood.

Birds appreciate statues and sculptures more than we do. An ancient African instrument, the marimba found its way into Western orchestras about a century ago. A shelter in the time of storm. RiverBlast! Objects on mirror are smaller than they appear.

Memorial Day 2005. Coming soon:  tigers and bears. This truck still hasn`t moved (see December 2, etc.), but nature has taken its course. The direct result of all those April showers. I don`t photograph people as much as I might, but I shoot a lot of bugs (since they have no right to privacy).

The summer blockbuster movie season can begin, now that the popcorn trees have started to bloom. Lemon flavor. It seems somehow contrary to the notion of a fire escape. Closely related to the rat, of course, but a lot cuter. Canadian geese say, `Honk, eh?`
